watnanda (together)

Watnanda Consulting Team

OUR STORY

Ngata (Hello) Watnanda Consulting was established in October 2016. Judith Ahmat is the Director of Watnanda Consulting and her daughter Catherine Coysh provides consultancy support.

Watnanda is an Aboriginal word that means ‘together’. It is a common word that has been used between the 11 language groups across Gunditjmara Country. The word ‘Watnanda’ is one of the core principles of the business; working together can make a difference. This is demonstrated when working with clients to enable them to provide a culturally responsive service to close the gap.

Judith is a proud Gunditjmara woman and comes from a strong line of men and women. Judith is based in Wodonga in the North East of Victoria; this is no barrier to travel.
